I’m Daz, the tipster behind Betfair SP Edge. My service does what the name says: finds horses whose true chance beats their Betfair Starting Price.
Betfair SP is the exchange’s official starting price, set by real money rather than a bookmaker’s margin. Results recorded at Betfair SP cannot be flattered by prices nobody could actually get. What you see in my record is what you could have had.
My selections lean towards value at bigger prices, so the win rate is modest and the returns come in bursts. That is the nature of value betting. The long-term record, running since 2022, is the point.
